EngineWorks International Cycling Team Completes La Fausto Coppi

Team EngineWorks Finishes Legendary La Fausto Coppi Race in Italy

PORTLAND, Ore. (September 7, 2009) – EngineWorks, Inc. (www.engineworks.com), a full-service Search Engine Marketing (SEM) company specializing in data-driven, ROI-focused interactive marketing solutions, is pleased to announce that Team EngineWorks, the Company’s international cycling team lead by road racing expert Gary Spodnick, completed its inaugural cycling event, the International Granfondo LA FAUSTO COPPI 2009 (a.k.a. La Fausto Coppi) road bike race on August 30, 2009.

Team EngineWorks, wearing exclusively sponsored EngineWorks coordinated racing jerseys and cycling shorts, racing sports caps, and cycling socks, competed against more than 1,000 cyclists from around the world in this legendary bike race. After more than nine (9) hours of aggressive riding through the daunting Italian Alps, Team EngineWorks lead rider, Gary Spodnick, finished in 242nd place among the field of world-class riders.

The La Fausto Coppi 2009, named after the famed Italian rider Angelo Fausto Coppi, originated early in the morning on Sunday from Cuneo, Italy. The 200 kilometer road race looped through the mountains of Northern Italy, and culminated in the central Galimberti Public Square at its original starting point in Cuneo.
