EngineWorks SEO Enhances New Online Presence for RockResorts

Highly Optimized Web Sites for Luxury Resort Hotels

These exciting new online destinations have been designed by RTP to spotlight the world-class amenities and awe-inspiring locations at each alluring resort, and to provide an enhanced on-site experience for visitors. RTP, a Web site design and development agency specializing in services for the hospitality industry, partnered with EngineWorks to ensure that these new RockResorts sites feature proper search engine optimization (SEO) enhancements, so that they can be easily found by travelers shopping online for resort destinations.

In addition to integrating advanced optimization elements into each new Web site, EngineWorks worked closely with RTP to implement proper ‘301 re-directs’ for more than 500 Web pages that existed on the previous RockResorts Web sites. A 301 re-direct is an SEO technique that informs search engine algorithms (a.k.a. ‘spiders’) that a specific Web page has moved permanently to a new location, and is no longer available at the prior URL. This process ensures that returning visitors, and book-marked links, arrive at the newly redesigned RockResorts pages.

EngineWorks also implemented a robust social media marketing campaign for RockResorts that features newly created social media profiles on the popular networking site Facebook.com for each destination resort. These Facebook profiles enable prospective lodging guests to directly interact with other individuals who have stayed at, or are considering staying at, a specific resort owned by RockResorts. Ultimately, this social media marketing campaign is designed to increase the volume and richness of two-way communication between RockResorts and its target audience.
