EngineWorks is an Inaugural Board Member of SEMpdx

July 5, 2007 (Portland, OR) EngineWorks, Inc. (www.engineworks.com), a Portland-based search marketing and technologies company specializing in high performance search engine marketing (SEM) services, is a founding board member of Search Engine Marketing Professionals of Portland (SEMpdx).

SEMpdx, which is located at www.sempdx.org, is an active organization founded in Portland, Oregon for the purpose educating businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest on the benefits of search marketing. In addition, as one of the first search engine marketing associations in the country, SEMpdx offers a professional resource for search marketing employers, employees, and prospective employees.

SEMpdx held its inaugural SearchFest Conference and Exposition on March 8, 2007. This soon-to-be annual event is the Northwest's largest conference dedicated to search engine marketing. The full-day conference was held at the World Forestry Center in Portland, Oregon and featured multiple SEM learning tracks, interactive workshops, and expert panels.

EngineWorks also participates in the monthly search marketing events hosted by SEMpdx, including Networking Mixers and SEM Hot Seats. At the most recent SEM Hot Seat on June 12, 2007, the Company's Vice President and Director of Operations, Kent Schnepp, contributed his expert knowledge to local area businesses as a member of the Hot Seat panel.
