I would have thought microsoft would have been a bit more inventive for there search engine key name 'bing', however the more you say bing the bigger the thought becomes, 'lets bing it', 'bing it' 'bing it on''bing on' 'bing O' and so on. I like a comment that Bill Thompson made recently
'Microsoft is going to have to work very hard to penetrate the dense forest of thorns that Google has assiduously constructed over the years to protect the Sleeping Beauty of search in her fairytale castle.

Lets hope there is a happy ending for microsoft 'bing' ('but its not google')and the phrase becomes bigger than bingo.

I went to the google squared site and tried it out. I think that is an effective new way to get more information about your exact search. My only concern is that as of right now it only brings up a few results and not all of them. Maybe they are trying to narrow the scope of the search? I don't know. However, I do believe there are a lot of possibilities with the new type of searching.

It also will give SEM Marketers an opportunity to see what exactly from the website comes up in the search to better help the client target it's audience with better language. This will be an interesting new tool to follow.

Kids will use it if they know about it. Kids are always onto the latest and greatest. I will start using it myself to compare different sites, companies, and products.

That is an amazing experience you are offering! It is key for people in marketing to understand and be able to execute marketing online. SEO and SEM are vital to today's global economy. Companies who choose to ignore it and hope it goes away will sadly be left in the dust.

I applied for the internship! I hope that you find me qualified and look favorably on my eagerness to learn more!

Hey Dape . . . Thanks for your comment.

I'll pose this question to you: Do you perceive that this eMarketer projection is being driven by individuals desiring to connect with others, or by the fact that new technologies (e.g., micro-blogging such as Twitter) are creating potential new marketing channels?

Let me know your thoughts.

Blogging seems to be the way people communicate these days. This increase could be down to that most people lead busy lives or possibly like you say that it is fast becoming an outlet for business promotion. There could be many other reasons why this is happening if the predictions are correct and lets remember that's what they are, there will certainly be growth in the business blog area.
