EngineWorks is attending the innovative SMX Social Media Marketing conference in Long Beach this week (April 22nd and 23rd).  This industry-wide event is being presented by online search veteran Danny Sullivan as a one-of-a-kind event to learn the secrets of driving qualified visits from social media networks and applications such as Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us and Wikipedia.

Wow! Resort Technology Partners (RTP), a top-tier provider of software and Internet solutions for the resort, recreation, specialty retail and hospitality industries, and one of EngineWorks most valued agency partners, really knows how to throw a great party!  Oh . . . and, also organize and present a phenomenal conference.

EngineWorks was privileged to be a featured Silver Sponsor last week at the Resort Automation Conference (RAC) organized by RTP.  The multi-day conference, which took place in Vail, Colorado, covered a wide-range of technology and Internet topics pertaining to the resort and travel industry, including sessions on RTP’s integrated, point of sale, ticketing and e-commerce solutions to search engine marketing.

In addition to the informative conference, RTP held a wonderful 70’s Disco-themed reception complete with outrageous costumes, funky music, and disco ball!  Check-out some of the super-hip pics below.

The first three months of 2008 at EngineWorks are proving to be incredibly action-packed! New client launches. Traveling and presenting. Integration of a new bid management platform. Refinement of our service offerings (more to come). And, most recently, exhibiting at SearchFest ‘08 here in Portland. Unfortunately, all this activity has prevented me from providing a recap my presentation at the Online Marketing Summit (OMS) in San Diego on February 21, 2008. Now, that I have a slight break in between SearchFest (03.10.08) and SES New York coming-up next week, here is a quick review of my experience at OMS.
