Search Marketing to Increase in Second Half 2008

On Friday of last week, eMarketer reported in an article titled ‘Search ad spending keeps growing’ that both online advertisers and media agencies anticipate increasing their spend on Search Engine Marketing campaigns during the second half of 2008. In fact, this article states that online businesses plan to increase their Paid Search Marketing spending by more than one-third, while agencies claim that they will increase their PPC spending by more than one-half.
In addition, the media agencies surveyed in this article indicate that they are planning to increase spending on Natural SEO engagement by more than 70% in the next six months.
