EngineWorks Rocks The RAC
Wow! Resort Technology Partners (RTP), a top-tier provider of software and Internet solutions for the resort, recreation, specialty retail and hospitality industries, and one of EngineWorks most valued agency partners, really knows how to throw a great party! Oh . . . and, also organize and present a phenomenal conference.
EngineWorks was privileged to be a featured Silver Sponsor last week at the Resort Automation Conference (RAC) organized by RTP. The multi-day conference, which took place in Vail, Colorado, covered a wide-range of technology and Internet topics pertaining to the resort and travel industry, including sessions on RTP’s integrated, point of sale, ticketing and e-commerce solutions to search engine marketing.
In addition to the informative conference, RTP held a wonderful 70’s Disco-themed reception complete with outrageous costumes, funky music, and disco ball! Check-out some of the super-hip pics below.
Here is a quick review of the three day event.

Michael McDermott, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing at RTP, and Kent Schnepp kick-off the 70’s Disco reception!
I had the opportunity to sit-in on several informative presentations delivered by RTP representatives. I enjoyed Kate Kunert’s demonstration of RTP’s robust content management technology. As always, I was very impressed with all of RTP’s resort and hospitality solutions.

EngineWorks own Angela Yost and Shelley Pinkham with RTP.
In addition, EngineWorks CEO, Sean McMahon, Director of Client Acquisition, Angela Yost, and I presented the panel session titles “Search - Powering Your Marketing Mix”. Our presentation provided information on the compelling value proposition of search engine marketing to the prospective and current RTP clients. I perceive that this panel presentation was very well received by the audience. A lively discussion and Q&A session followed our presentation.

In addition to our opening presentation, I presented another panel session titled ‘SEO Best Practices’ that covered the basics of proper search optimization and appropriate strategies.

Who knows how to party? RTP knows how to party! The 70’s-themed casino/disco party was a blast. Take a look at our EngineWorks Flikr account for more pictures.

70’s Night At The RAC! Sock it to me, baby!
The Resort Automation Conference was one of the best organized conferences I have attended since being in the search marketing industry. All elements, from the promotional items to the quality of presentations, were top-shelf. Big kudos to RTP’s Shelley Pinkham and her team for organizing such a great event!
Can’t wait to Rock the RAC next year!
