Google’s Unit of Knowledge
Posted by Sean McMahon on 12.17.2007Here’s a compelling article from Rick Aristotle at The Motley Fool titled “Google’s Grassy Knol Theory” that provides insight and opinion into the introduction of “Knol” by Google this past weekend.
Knol, which got its name from Google’s verbiage for a unit of knowledge, is the search giant’s attempt to compete with Wikipedia. Let me know why you think Google wants to butt heads with the world’s most popular user-generated encyclopedia.
