It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. For this upcoming holiday selling season, it depends on if you are prepared to capitalize on interactive marketing campaigns. In an eMarketer study released today, Jeffery Grau, senior analyst at the research firm stated, that “while consumers have said they plan to spend less this year on holiday gifts, and that may signal trouble for store retail sales, it could benefit Web retailers. Holiday shoppers are likely to depend more on the Internet to find best prices and save gas by avoiding trips to the mall.â€
November 28, 2007 (Portland, OR) — EngineWorks, Inc. The Company will be occupying the entire top floor of this newly renovated office space located at the Sylvan exit on Highway 26 just outside of downtown Portland. In addition to this centralized location, the new office space will enable EngineWorks to consolidate all of its operations under one roof. Currently, the Company’s engineering offices are located two hours south of Portland in Eugene, Oregon.
“The ability of our company to secure this new office space for our headquarters,” proclaimed Sean McMahon, president of EngineWorks, “is a direct refection upon the efficacious services we provide to our world-class clients”.
Mr. McMahon also stated, “Not only will our new headquarters enable us to accommodate our rapidly growing client roster; it also provides the means for us to bring our Operations Department together here in Portland.”
In a report today, eMarketer is reporting that the marketers of Consumer Packaged Goods (i.e., food, beverages, cosmetics, baby care, etc.) are shifting a greater amount of their advertising budgets to online search marketing and other interactive media. In fact, these companies are projected to spend $920 million on all types of online advertising this year, which is an increase of more than 33 percent compared to 2006, according to this eMarketer report.

Microsoft’s Live Search (formally known as MSN) has reinstated the link command after disabling it back in March.
