SEMpdx Knows the Value of SEO

Posted by Sean McMahon on 10.01.2007

Last week, Todd Mintz, a fellow Search Engine Marketing Professionals of Portland (www.sempdx.org) board member, had an outstanding article posted to Danny Sullivan’s Sphinn forum (www.sphinn.com) that conveyed the tremendous value proposition of search engine optimization for any commercial Web site. The article titled “What is the SEO Value Proposition? – Ask SEMpdx”was posted by Scott Hendison, who is in charge of marketing for SEMpdx.

The task Todd set-out to accomplish with this article was to articulate the compelling reasons for implementing an integrated, professional search engine optimization strategy into a company’s on-going marketing mix. He accomplished this through personal interviews with several online search industry executives and fellow SEMpdx members, including EngineWorks’ own Vice President of Operations, Kent Schnepp.
